How fast can the heart pump enough
blood to keep me from fainting

beside you? I guess it’s faster
than how I am attempting to solve.

I never knew its mechanics will apply.
Take this artery, this aorta, for example,

and how the blood cannot touch its wall.
How come I see it pumping, moving my shirt?

We repeat the same numbers and variables,
etching them in a piece of paper. We repeat

until it drains out our ink and blood.
You said you want to become a cardiologist.

Whatever the problem was,
it was mine in the first place.
